Chapter 1: A Thousand Days Nourished
A discussion about the first 1000 days of development (from pregnancy until age 2), and the role of nutrition in the pursuit of a healthy lifespan. This workshop is open to everyone, and is directed towards Holistic Nutritionists. Topics covered will include the emerging science around gut microbiome and epigenetics. Practical recommendations will also be included.
The workshop will be held at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition on Saturday, March 31st from 9am-12pm. To register, please email Dr. Ryan Takagi at firstname.lastname@example.org. The registration fee is $30 and can be sent through e-transfer.
Ryan is a Chiropractor in Vancouver, and has a keen interest in both positive youth development and nutrition, he completed a Master of Science in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine. He is excited to combine these two passions in a discussion with open-minded individuals who think critically about the information presented. In addition to Chiropractic, he teaches science courses at CSNN, helps coach the SFU Rowing Team, and does nutritional consultations for individuals and sports teams.
