About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I have a few passions that I share here. I have a huge passion for physical well-being, which inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Doctor of Chiropractic.

While completing my Doctor of Chiropractic, I developed a passion for nutrition, so I decided to also pursue a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine.

I am especially interested in sports injuries, chronic pain, and adolescent health. Check out my Chiropractic page for more information on my practices.

I also have a passion for positive youth development, and all the factors that enable youth to lead healthy, productive and satisfied lives. I am curious about the physical and socio-emotional skills that youth develop, which allow them to interact with a variety of challenging environments. This curiosity encouraged me to start a podcast. I love talking to people about these topics, so that I can learn more.

I love that every day is different, and that I get to interact with people on a personal level. For me, health has always been a resource for living and not the objective. I like being a resource for others.

In addition to my Chiropractic practices, I also teach science courses at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and I am the Lead Faculty for the Tanzania Rehabilitation Project through the Global Peace Network.

I grew up in a small town in the BC interior. Like many Canadian kids, I grew up playing hockey. One of my first jobs was driving the zamboni at the rink. After many years playing hockey, I switched to rowing in University — one of the most physically challenging sports I have done. Now, I run, hike, and bike when I have time.
